Schools Open Exhibition

We are inviting North Lincolnshire’s Infant, Primary, and Secondary schools to take part in this special exhibition at 20-21 Visual Arts Centre.

With the return of 20-21’s famous Open Exhibition, we couldn’t just let the adults have all the fun, so we’re delighted to announce our first Schools Open Exhibition!

We want to celebrate the imagination, creativity, and unique perspectives of young people. It offers students the exciting opportunity to see their artwork displayed in a professional gallery space and shared with the wider community.

We welcome artwork from all age groups and abilities — from first marks and colourful explorations to more developed and conceptual pieces. Artworks will be selected by the exhibitions team with prizes being awarded for stand out artworks.

Families, friends, and the community will be invited to visit and celebrate the students work.

Exhibition Details

Venue: 20-21 Visual Arts Centre

Exhibition Dates: 10 October to 5 December 2026

Opening Event: Friday 9 October 2026, 4-6pm

Submission Deadline: Thursday 1 October 2026

Key dates:

•Artwork Delivery: Monday 28 September to Thursday 1 October 2026

•Collection of Work: 7 to 14 December 2026

Format of submission:

•Work should be delivered to 20-21.

•2D works (painting, drawing, photography etc) should be no larger than 50cm square.

•3D works (sculpture) should be no more than 30cm in any direction.
