Have a Go ... Wire Sculptures

Get hands-on with sculpture and discover how simple lengths of wire pipe cleaners can be transformed into unique three-dimensional artworks.

Bend, twist and shape your ideas into creative forms while experimenting with different techniques in a relaxed and friendly setting.

Suitable for children aged 5+ and adults.

This session is free, all materials are provided, and there's no need to book – simply drop in and get creative.

This popular session is taking place this summer holidays and we know our visitors love the informal no pressure style of activity. But, it does mean we can only accommodate so many. If you’d like to join us for this session, please be aware it is not a formal workshop structure and the activity is designed to last about 15 minutes. We do this to keep it as accessible as we can. If the room is busy, we suggest you can do the following whilst you wait for a spot:

- Pick up and complete a trail from reception

- Enjoy an arts based activity in the link gallery space.

- Spend time in the new Discover area

- Visit the exhibitions on offer in the gallery spaces
