Create Your Own Bear Hunt

Join us to create your own unique bear character and take it on an adventure.

Create your own Bear Hunt is a creative workshop for families with primary school aged children, inspired by Michael Rosen’s beloved book We’re going on a Bear Hunt.

Within the workshop, families will design their own bear character and create a figure using a range of materials and techniques.

We will then embark on our Bear Hunt, accompanied by our characters. Along the way we will record the bears’ journey, taking note of the environment around us and thinking about how to describe the sights, sounds and smells we encounter.

Upon our return, we will create a storyboard of our bears’ adventures using illustrative techniques and descriptive writing.

All Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult who must also reserve a ticket.

This workshop is by Rachel Shore a designer, maker and artist for performance and installations. Specialising in immersive and interactive design, her work has included installations for events, festivals, museums and schools and set/prop/costume design for touring theatre. https://www.rachelshoredesigns.com/
